Mititei or mici are a Romanian traditional food, they are cylinder, and are made at the grill to get the best flavor. You can eat them anytime you want, but the most fun time to eat those it’s when you are with your friend or family, camping or not, making a grill.
- 500 g minced meat (mix beef, pork, even sheep);
- 200 ml of beef bone juice;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda;
- Spices (the amount you set according to your own taste): salt, pepper, thyme, allspice, paprika, rosemary.
Add the spices to the meat and mix. Add the garlic and stir constantly. Finally, add the baking soda. If you want, you can also taste it, to make sure that you match the flavors properly.
Then you form the mici/mititei and put them on the grill. First you fry them for 2 minutes on each side then leave them for 10 minutes then take them.
